Genau hier hat das TOLMINATOR FESTIVAL im vergangenen Juli erstmals angesetzt, um die gute Tradition hochwertig bestückter Metal-Festivals in echter Urlaubs-Atmosphäre in Tolmin auf ein neues familiäres Level zu hieven. Von Liebhabern für Liebhaber!
Nicht zurückblickend, nicht von Nostalgie getrieben, sondern nach vorne gewandt, ist ein neues Festival mit eigener Note und tiefschwarzer, kompromissloser musikalischer Seele geschaffen worden, das die Bedürfnisse der Besucher, Metal-Fans aus zahlreichen Winkeln der Welt, immer fest im Blick behält. Begrenzt auf nur 5000 Besucher, hat die TOLMINATOR-Crew Anlauf genommen und die positiven Elemente von Musik und unberührter Natur mit dem nötigen Fingerspitzengefühl verbinden können.

Trivia: In July 2007, the All-Polish Committee for Defense Against Sects distributed to many Polish officials a list of bands that allegedly promote Satanism and murder. Critics of this policy primarily see this as a violation of free speech. The list has not gone into effect, and Behemoth were allowed to play in Poland freely. Nergal has repeatedly been on trial in Poland for tearing up the Bible in a 2007 incident.

Trivia: Labeled as one of the "big six" of the 1980s Bay Area thrash metal scene, Testament is often credited as one of the most popular and influential bands of the thrash metal scene,[ as well as one of the leaders of the second wave of the genre in the late 1980s.They have also been referred to as one of the "big eight" of thrash metal, along with Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, Exodus, Overkill and Death Angel.

Trivia: The band combines heavy metal, hip-hop, and hardcore punk with Japanese pop culture influences. The name of teh band was inspired by the manga Fist of the North Star/Hokuto no Ken/Kenshiro.

Trivia: The band exists from 1987 and had many lineup changes. Between 1996 and 1998 they have been known as Soulburn. The band is currently at Century Media Records.

MISERY INDEX

Genre: Death Metal / Grindcore
Tolminator statement: I have seen the guys play in very small and also huge venues, their members in various bands like Lock Up, Hate Eternal, Dying Fetus, Pig Destroyer,... one of the best bands Death Metal has to offer.
Trivia: The misery index is an economic indicator created by Chicago economist Arthur Melvin Okun in the 1970s and is the unemployment rate added to the inflation rate. It is also the title of the last Assück album, which is what the band primarily named themselves after.
