CROWN THE EMPIRE präsentieren nun auch das offizielle Musikvideo ihres neusten Songs "Sudden Sky“:
Die Band kommentiert das Video zu dem melodischen Metalcore Song wie folgt:
"We're born into this world with nothing. No preconceptions. No knowledge of how we got here. No awareness of what or who we are. This is where conformity begins...
"Today, our society is being shaped by the digital revolution. Technology is growing at an exponential rate. Humans are more connected than ever before. Unlimited information is in the palm of our hands. But there's something wrong...we've become emotionally disconnected.
"Instead of confronting our problems, we numb them with drugs and technological overload. We're addicted to social media and instant gratification. The lines between what's real and what's not are extremely blurred.

Debüt-Album "Looking Through The Shades" am 12.07. auf Anti-
GLITTERER ist die Indie-Rock-Band des TITLE FIGHT Sängers und Bassisten NED RUSSIN, mit " Looking Through The Shades“ erscheint am 12.07. das Debüt-Album auf Anti- Records, auf dem u.a. seine Brüder Ben Russin und Alex Russin zu hören sind. Unterstützung bei der Produktion bekam er von (Sandy) Alex G und Arthur Rizk (Code Orange, Power Trip, Sumerlands, the 2018 Grammy Awards)
Anhand "Destiny" gab es bereits einen ersten Vorgeschmack, nun folgt das Musikvideo zu dem Song "1001"

This video for “1001” features stream-of-consciousness movements; an anti-narrative that still tells a story; and collages of moments, ideas, and places inspired by daily life. The video was directed and shot by Chris Tharp and features Sarah King and skateboarder Ben Kadow (Supreme, Hockey, Vans).
Looking Through The Shades was recorded in the cozy carpeted basement of the Russin family home, in Kingston, Pa., and co-produced by indie-rock prodigy Alex Giannascoli (also known as (Sandy) Alex G) and the Arthur Rizk (Code Orange, Power Trip, Sumerlands, the 2018 Grammy Awards). The album contains Glitterer’s best-yet sonics and songs; it has been constructed in such a way as to evince a spirit — co-operative, semi-schizophrenic, greater than the sum of its parts — that is proper to rock bands and that is inaccessible to even the least self-involved Soundcloud rappers and bedroom artists. Simply put, Looking Through The Shades is the sound of a group of people playing music, together, in a room. Meanwhile, the lyrics are still reluctantly but rigorously self-aware, the choruses are still habit-formingly catchy, and the arrangements still carry not an ounce of excess fat.

Joey kommentiert den countryesken“ Song wie folgt:
“It’s a simple tune and a vague love song about music and where our relationship began. I spent the first half of my life in Southern California and the last thirty-odd years in Northern Cal. The south is blissful, beautiful, over-populated and lonely. On a hot day it feels like it may catch fire, maybe for its sins."

Neuer Song "Prism" - Exklusive Club-Show in Köln
Die US-Garage-Indie-Rock Band PLAGUE VENDOR wird am Freitag ihr neues Album "By Night" auf Epitaph veröffentlichen. Aufgenommen wurde der Longplayer mit Hilfe von John Congleton (St. Vincent / Chelsea Wolfe) in den legendären EastWest Studios (Brian Wilson, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop) . Für Freunde von The Hives, Iggy & The Stooges etc. nur zu empfehlen!
Nach einigen Festivalshows und Touren im Vorprogramm von Jello Biafra, Iggy Pop oder Social Distortion wird die Band im August eine exklusive Show in Köln spielen.

ROBERTA BAYLEY - zu Gast im Ramones Museum Berlin
Pop-Up-Foto-Ausstellung mit bisher unveröffentlichten Motiven
19. & 21. Juni, ab 18 Uhr, Eintritt frei.
Die New Yorker Fotografen-Ikone ROBERTA BAYLEY stellt erstmals ihre besten Fotos, aus den frühen Tagen des Punks, aus. Darunter befinden sich unter anderem ihre legendärsten Bilder von den RAMONES, BLONDIE, DEAD BOYS, NEW YORK DOLLS, THE CLASH, SEX PISTOLS, CBGB und PUNK MAGAZINE. Betrachtet werden können die Werke am 19. Juni ab 18 Uhr. Die Örtlichkeiten hätte nicht passender gewählt werden können, denn die Ausstellungen finden im Ramones Museum Berlin statt.
Ein besonderes Highlight bietet der Abend des 21. Juni. BAYLEY zeigt hier erstmalig exklusives und unveröffentlichtes Material vom Covershooting für das Debütalbum der RAMONES. Die Fotos zeigen nicht nur die Entstehung des ikonischen Covermotivs, sondern auch die Geschehnisse davor und danach! Für Ramones- und Punk-Fans bietet sich hier eine einzigartige Möglichkeit, noch einen Schritt näher an die Punkrock-Urväter heranzukommen.
Zusätzlich zu den Pop-Up-Ausstellungen am 19. und 21. Juni gibt es an beiden Abenden einen Talk mit der ROBERTA BAYLEY, in dessen Rahmen die Fotografin auf die Entstehungsgeschichte der Motive eingehen und mit Anekdoten aus den frühen Tagen der New Yorker Punk-Szene sicher für die eine oder andere Überraschung sorgen wird.
Die Veranstaltungen beginnen an beiden Tagen um 18 Uhr. Freier Eintritt!

Produziert wurden die 13 Songs von Cameron Webb , der in der Vergangenheit bereits mit Bands wie Motörhead oder Megadeth zusammengearbeitet hat.

Longstanding California rock band STRUNG OUT are pleased to announce their brand new studio album titled Songs of Armor and Devotion. Produced by Cameron Webb (Motörhead, Megadeth), Songs of Armor and Devotion is a record that brims with the same ferocious fire the band had at the very start of its career close to 30 years ago when frontman Jason Cruz was still a teenager, but which also demonstrates how far its members have evolved as songwriters, musicians and people. Leading the collection is the moody “Daggers” which features Cruz telling a story of personal turmoil within the backdrop of an increasingly dystopian America.
Songs of Armor and Devotion was created out an inherent need for Strung Out frontman Jason Cruz to reveal his fresh feelings on loss, the current state of America, and his continued drive to further his connection with fans through more dynamic, and evolved, songwriting. It’s a punk record, but it’s also much more than that. It’s a political record that addresses the state we’re in, but at its core maintains a belief that humanity overrides everything. It’s pain and sadness and hope and rebellion all wrapped into one powerful statement that also serves as a culmination of the band’s three decades together.
